This round orange metal tin was produced for Stuart Perfumer of Newark, New York and originally held Prima Donna Bath Dusting Powder. The design features an elegant woman in a dramatic black gown holding a floral-patterned shawl — a wonderfully theatrical image that perfectly suits the product name Prima Donna.
The warm orange ground, black graphics, aged gold-toned trim, and beautifully worn surface give this piece tremendous visual character. The illustrated woman repeats around the sides and appears prominently on the lid alongside the original Prima Donna Bath Dusting Powder label.
Today, the empty tin makes a striking piece of vintage vanity décor, advertising memorabilia, or collected shelf styling. It would also be wonderful incorporated into an Art Deco display, perfume collection, dressing-table vignette, Halloween arrangement, or assemblage of early 20th-century tins.

Condition
Authentic antique/vintage condition with significant age-related wear, which is clearly visible in the photographs and contributes to the character of the piece.
The tin shows surface scratches, scuffs, spotting, discoloration, oxidation/tarnish, finish loss, edge wear, and wear to the printed decoration. The lid displays particularly noticeable scratching and surface wear. Interior also shows age-related marks and discoloration.
The lid remains present and the original graphics are still wonderfully recognizable.
