A tiny piece of writing history with wonderfully moody character.

This vintage Waterman’s Blue Black Ink bottle dates approximately to the late 1930s–1940s and features Waterman’s distinctive faceted tip-fill glass bottle design. The original aged paper label remains on the front, reading “Blue Black Waterman’s Ink” with the charming instruction “In the Tip Fill Bottle.”

 The underside is embossed:

 WATERMAN’S

2 OZ

PAT. 98958

At only approximately 2” high × 3” wide × 2” deep, this is a fabulous little collectible for a vintage writing desk, fountain pen collection, printer tray, shadow box, apothecary display or curated Halloween vignette.

And visually? That old amber-and-black label makes it especially good tucked among potion bottles, skulls and other curiosities — exactly the way you used it in Midnight Mashup Manor.
