A gloriously grotesque survivor from 1990s Halloween.
This vintage full-head latex Halloween mask was produced by Be Something Studios (BSS) and is marked © 1998 BSS BY B.Y. inside the mask. Its wildly exaggerated design combines skeletal anatomy, alien-like proportions and creature-horror styling, with oversized iridescent dimensional eyes, exposed-looking ribs and tendons, jagged teeth and vivid chartreuse, red, orange and brown painted detailing.
At approximately 11” high × 10” wide × 9” deep, this is a substantial display piece with enormous visual presence. It works beautifully as a collectible Halloween mask, horror display, monster collection piece, haunted-house prop or dramatic shelf centerpiece.
Although originally made as a wearable Halloween mask, its sculptural quality makes it especially compelling displayed on a stand among vintage Halloween, skull, monster and oddity collections.

Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear consistent with a latex Halloween mask approaching 30 years old. Surface shows areas of paint wear, minor cracking/crazing, small rips/tears, and age-related changes to the latex, particularly around raised sculptural and flex points, as photographed. Dimensional eye pieces remain present with some discoloration . Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
Because of the age and condition of the latex, this piece is being sold primarily as a collectible/display item rather than for costume wear. Vintage latex may continue to stiffen, crack, or deteriorate over time.
Originally designed as a wearable Halloween mask, it is now best suited for display because of its age and condition.
