Tiny, mischievous and mid-century adorable. 🐈
This petite vintage Siamese kitten is captured mid-stride with its tail held high, bright blue painted eyes and classic seal-point coloring. The glossy cream body is accented with deep chocolate-brown ears, muzzle, paws and tail.
At only about two inches long, this little cat has an extraordinary amount of personality for its size. Perfect for a printer tray, curio cabinet, miniature collection, dollhouse-inspired display or tucked among larger vintage cat treasures.
The figurine is very similar in scale, construction and decoration to vintage Hagen-Renaker California pottery Siamese miniatures. Because no original paper label or maker’s mark remains, however, the maker cannot be conclusively verified and it is being offered as Hagen-Renaker style / attributed to Hagen-Renaker, rather than definitively marked Hagen-Renaker.
Likely mid-20th century, approximately 1950s–1960s.
