Two tiny kittens with two very different personalities. 🤍🐾
This charming vintage pair features one curious kitten sitting upright with a paw raised and its companion stretched out beside it. Each is finished in glossy ivory-white porcelain with softly shaded charcoal-gray markings, pink ears, tiny painted noses and wonderfully expressive faces.
Their petite scale is part of their charm. Display them together on a bookshelf, printer tray, curio shelf or amongst a collection of miniature treasures. They are especially sweet tucked into a layered cottage-style vignette.
Based on their construction, miniature scale and hand-painted export styling, these appear consistent with mid-century Japanese porcelain/bone-china animal miniatures, likely dating to approximately the 1950s–1960s. No maker’s mark or original label remains, so the exact manufacturer and country of origin cannot be confirmed.
Sold as a set of two.
