A charming vintage green footed compote featuring a softly matte painted finish and an embossed fruit-and-leaf design around the bowl.
Originally produced in the Gourmande frosted glass pattern by Cristal D’Arques–Durand, featuring a raised fruit-and-leaf motif. This example has been given soft green painted finish, creating a charming one-of-a-kind cottage look.
The pedestal shape gives it a lovely bit of height, making it perfect for styling on a shelf, hutch, kitchen vignette, or tabletop. The molded botanical detail feels especially at home in a cottage-inspired display, and the fresh green color pairs beautifully with cream, white, floral china, and other vintage greens.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The later-applied green finish shows scattered rubbing, small marks, and areas of paint loss, particularly along the rim and raised decorative details, with portions of the original glass visible beneath.
