A wonderfully moody piece of vintage writing history — and an almost perfect accidental potion bottle.

This Parker Quink Permanent Blue-Black ink bottle is made of dark blue-black glass with ribbed shoulders, a square profile, original-style black screw cap, and its striking silver-and-black Parker Quink paper label still present on the front.

Originally made for fountain pen ink by The Parker Pen Company in the U.S.A., its deep glass color and architectural shape give it wonderful visual presence despite its small size.

In the Midnight Mashup Manor / Luna Noire Collection, it takes on an entirely different personality. Display it beside potion bottles, witches, skulls, curiosities, or Halloween miniatures — or use it year-round in a vintage writing, office, library, or ephemera collection.

It also makes an excellent display riser for a tiny figurine — as shown with our little witch bear — adding height and dimension to a collected shelf without introducing a modern-looking stand.
